Report provided data describing the overall health of its citizens and the state's health-related issues. In addition to informing Louisianans on the overall health circumstances in our state, this annual publication is an effective tool for health planning and evaluating the effectiveness of health programs. The annual Vital Records Report is included as the appendix to the Health Report Card.

Mission is to inform and facilitate efforts to improve the health of Louisiana communities through strategic collection, analysis and presentation of available population health, health care and health indicator data.
