What's multimedia? For library resources, multimedia is "A combination of two or more digital media (text, graphics, audio, animation, video, etc.) used in a computer application or data file, such as an online encyclopedia, computer game, or Web site (example: A 2 Z 4 Birders Online Guide). Multimedia applications are often interactive. Synonymous in this sense with digital media." (Online Dictionary of Library and Information Science)

Social media has become such a common term, but do you really know what it is? You probably do, but if you don't click here. Almost everyone and any company or organization has ties to some sort of social networking site. Even the VA has Facebook!
