Purpose

The main focus of this guide will be to engage students with online resources provided by the library as well as the internet, and to critically examine the information.

Learning Outcomes

  1. The student will be able to evaluate sources using strategies such as the CRAAP method.

  2. The student will be able to correctly create a citation.

  3. The student will be able to use library resources effectively.

Textbook Initiative

Textbook Initiative
The Library has placed copies of most General Education course books at the Reserves desk on the 2nd floor. The books can be checked out for a 4-hour period. This includes novels used in Literature classes: ENGL 211, 212, 215, 216, & 217.
Instructions: Choose your search method from the drop down menu: Course Name (ex. English), Course ID (ex. ENGL 215), or Instructor name (ex. Duet). Click "Search" to be taken to a list of items that we have available.
